New review of FOOL's RUSH

Actually we weren't quite sure how to present this one, since the reviewer has tackled all three volumes of Chris's FOOL trilogy; however the most positive remarks were about the final part, FOOL'S RUSH, and so that's what we've chosen to go with in the end.

Chris Quinton is a fantastic mystery writer! And she builds the plot of this book with her skill and most of all, her experience. When I read this book, I could see an image of a mature, professional novelist in every word that Quinton uses. She has smartly handled every element of this story and different layers to her admirable characters.

New books now available!

We are very happy to announce that our two new titles, ALWAYS WITH US by Morgan Cheshire and THE APOTHECARY'S GARDEN by Julie Bozza, are now available to buy through our online shop - and we would like to congratulate the four intrepid individuals (three of them from Germany and one from the UK) who discovered that through a little scheduling faux pas we had accidentally managed to update the online shop module twenty-four hours early and thereby release the books ahead of time!

Anyway, the floodgates are now officially open and we are poised over our keyboards ready to receive your orders!

We are also going to be answering questions on GoodReads for the next few days, so if there is anything you have always been desperate to know about your favourite Manifold Press author or their work this is the ideal opportunity for you to get on over to our GoodReads group and express yourself!

Meanwhile, we'll return to our unceasing quest to bring you intriguing, fascinating and sometimes challenging new m/m romance fiction - and we're delighted to report that our two titles for 1 August are coming along very well indeed (texts completed, covers designed) and we're beginning to look even further ahead to November and February; as long as we keep being offered good quality fiction to publish we'll continue to set it before you, our esteemed readers, on a regular basis.  We can't say fairer than that, really, can we?

Over at Jessewave, guest review Leslie S. has clearly been enjoying Chris Quinton's FOOL'S RUSH, despite not having read the previous two volumes of the trilogy!

If you like your vamps just a little bit different, you’re sure to enjoy Fool’s Rush. As for me, I’m off to pick up the first two books in the series – and I’m going to bat my eyelashes in a winning manner at Chris Quinton and ask if there’s any chance for a story about Lucien, pretty please?

Julie Bozza's epic THE DEFINITIVE ALBERT J. STERNE has always been one of our strongest sellers but slightly unfairly (in our view) it seems on the whole to have eluded the attention of the reviewers. This situation has now been remedied, however, with a review by Sirius at Dear Author which is extremely positive on all fronts.

I recommend this book very highly, especially if you love snarky, complex heroes and if detailed descriptions of murder with torture do not scare you.
